The city where Beyoncé knows how to party

Written by By Ander De Flamand, Special to CNN In the beginning of Caissie Levy’s hit comedy show “Caroline, or Change,” it is well known that Charlotte d’Amboise, (played by Levy) is a New York playwright. She’s also, apparently, a woman who has no idea how to change or even talk to people. This is quite ironic, since the whole premise of the show revolves around how people in situations like this never succeed in resolving conflicts. The reason? According to Charlotte, all that really needs to happen to make a decision is either a well-intentioned voice over or a proper amount of reassurance. By the end of the play, everyone agrees that this is a wonderful approach to living because every problem can be solved by reading a script or listening to a monologue from a friend or colleague.
